I'm just hiding.
Hiding from them.
Hiding my colors
Fading to gray for them.
Gray.
A bored color
A fade, a shade
Of what it wants to be.
It wants to be so many colors
But it has to be boring old gray.
Just for them.
I Remember Him
I Remember Her
I Remember Love
I Remember Hate
I Remember Joy
I Remember Anguish
I Remember Happiness
I Remember Misery
I Remember Laughter
I Remember Tears
I Remember Contentment
I Remember Pain
I Remember Excitement
I Remember Dread
I Remember that day you got up and left.
I Remember those times we've said goodbye
But
I'll always remember one little thing
Above the old and above the new
I'll Always Remember You!
Faith is not to be governed
by the vile will of you humans.
It is the very pulse of your soul.
The very core of the morality
that drives you.
Like you, it may be tainted & controlled
but only by your given gift of free will
can this take place.
Like light, it holds the power to
guide and to free, just as it holds
The potential to fade away into the darkness.
Like a parasite, can it consume you
but only by the filthy hands
of invited demons.
Faith is both gift & privilege
accepted into heart & mind
by the words of a truthful tongue.
In days to come, shall you hear
the drums of war over & around
The plains of existence, and f

I need you baby like i need a simile
I need you baby like a daisy needs the sun
like a soldier needs his gun
like a cheetah needs a run

like a birthday needs a cake
like a pontoon needs a lake
And I need you baby like an addict needs his fix
like an athlete needs his kicks
like the rabbit needs his trix
And I need you baby like an eagle needs to fly

The Poem Without a Name
What if leaves watch as people fall,
Or paintings stare at them from the wall
While music,silently,listens to us all
In the night, when the moon admires this world
And the wind trembles because of the cold
That rests in a human's mind, a darkness untold.
Maybe books read us page after page
At times when we lock ourselves in a cage
Enjoying the stoyline until it causes damage
Nightmares are the ones frightened by humans
And the clouds just cry on our shoulders
Liberating, throwing their liquid treasures.
How about summer's impatience to meet you?
Or a movie composing its actors and a review
About a sculpture perfecting its artist
Smile.
Laugh.
Run
Faster.
Faster.
Stop.
"What are you doing?"
Trying to escape.
"Nothing."
Look behind you.
Are they there?
Shh.
Shut up.
Don't.
Say.
Anything.
"What's wrong?"
You'll never understand it.
"Never mind."
Scream.
Scream louder.
Rip your hair out.
Cover your ears.
"Calm down."
I can't.
"I'm sorry."
They want you to die.
They're out for you.
Shut the door.
Lock it.
Unlock it.
Lock it again.
Hide.
Shh.
"Are you okay?"
I'm dying.
"I'm fine."
You'll never make it.
Freeze.
Fall to the ground.
Cry.
Cry harder.
Stop.
"What are you doing?"
Dying.
"What are you going through?"
Torture.
"What'
In this digital screen
Is a picture of your face
You look so pretty and happy
Forever and always
I click the arrow over
And the camera shows a slide
It’s you and me together
But also that other guy
He always made me angry
I never liked him around
I screamed and fought with you
Which only brought us down
The photo changes again
But this time only us
We’re holding hands together
In the park out by the bus
I remember that night clearly
And the picture changed once more
It was like it was yesterday
That I found you on the floor
I screamed out your name
And tried to find my phone
But my hands were shaking badly
And I felt complet
